Account Information – Email (optional), username, display name, profile photo, avatar style
Personal Details – Age or age range, gender (optional)
Nicotine Use Details – Product type, daily consumption, spending, quit date
Assessment & Check-Ins – Triggers, reasons for quitting, mental/emotional state, past attempts
Journal & Coach Content – Entries, reflections, messages exchanged with the AI coach
Support Communications – Messages to customer support, feedback, bug reports

Some of this information may be considered sensitive depending on your location (e.g., health-related, mental-health-related, behavioral-change data).

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use NIXR, we automatically collect:

Device Information – Device model, operating system, app version, language
Usage Information – Screens viewed, time spent, actions taken, feature usage
Identifiers – Push token, device identifier
Diagnostics – Crash logs, performance data, error reports

This information helps us operate, secure, and improve the app.

1.3 Subscription & Payment Information

Payments are handled by RevenueCat, Apple, and Google. We do not collect or store your credit card number.

Subscription status
Product purchased
Renewal/cancellation dates

We share information with vendors who help us operate NIXR:

Supabase – Database, authentication, backend infrastructure
Anthropic (Claude) – AI coach conversations and personalization
RevenueCat – Subscription management
Sentry – Crash reporting and diagnostics
Expo – Push notifications and app delivery
Cloudinary – Secure hosting of user-uploaded images
Resend – Transactional email delivery
Apple / Google – Authentication and in-app payments

These providers may access data only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.

3.2 Legal, Safety, and Compliance

We may disclose information if we believe it is:

6. Data Retention

Account Information – While your account is active
Health & Journal Data – While your account is active
Coaching History – While active (you may delete it anytime)
Crash & Performance Logs – 90 days
Analytics Data – 24 months, then anonymized
Deleted Accounts – Fully removed within 30 days

You may delete your account at any time in the app.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

Encryption in transit and at rest
Row-level security rules
Secure authentication
Access controls
Monitoring and auditing
Incident response procedures

No system is perfectly secure, but we take appropriate steps to safeguard your information.

You may use NIXR without providing an email address. Anonymous accounts use random identifiers.

Limitations:

If you delete the app, your anonymous data may be unrecoverable
You may link your account to an email anytime to preserve data

NIXR is designed for adults and is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact privacy@nixrapp.com and we will delete it.
